    Rub rail replacement

I’m starting to plan out the refresh on my Broadbill. The rub rail is completely dried out and just breaks off if I try to move it. Where is the best place to get a replacement. A quick google search is turning up items they are WAY out of the price range ($300+ for 20’). So I’m assuming...

    Real Name Headaches

Eric, I agree 1000% on the real name thing. When I started my forum years ago, I had the same rule (copied from this site) and the same issue. Ended up deleting a lot of accounts that didn't comply. Even had a handful that would email me to argue about the rule as what they entered was their...

    Old Outboard Maintenance Issue

I pulled my 1979 Evinrude 25 out of storage in my shop (20+ years) After doing some high level checks (fluid in the foot, compression, plugs) on the motor I gave her a pull. On the 5 pull she fired right up but was running a little rough and didn't want to stay running. I noticed the fuel...

    AA Broadbill

Is that the full document? I just find it interesting that it is just a shape with no specific measurements. Being that duck skiffs had been around for over 100 years in various forms, I find it interesting that it could be patented. But I am not a lawyer either, so I just guess I don't...

    AA Broadbill

Registered the boat today and the state has it listed as a 1971 Wasn’t expecting that. Also noticed on the manufacturer sticker that the company was in Florida when it was built.

    TDB turned into a layout??

this is not a cut up TDB. it is a boat that was produced by the Custom Duck Boat Company. I owned on 40 years ago and it was scary, effective but scary. you had to come off plane like you were landing an aircraft or the nose would go under like a sub. Had it happen several times when my old...

    Related Topic - Dog Food

I know this can be a bit of a Ford vs Chevy vs Mopar but what is your dog food of choice and why? looking to change brands for our house dog. Lost my hunting partner a couple months ago. My lab had major skin issues so we had her on an expensive food in a attempt to help (some results but not...

    Working decoy November

They are white cedar. I have a good number of foamers too, but no photos of them. Keep saying I am going to make more foamers but the thought of the foam dust always stops me :) I would much rather smell cedar.
