a little hard to see but this is the "foam" bottom/support board that i have to replace. the foam is attached so i will have to cut it lose. A new replacement seat is $590 (not happening) going to have to unstaple it and replace it because the wood would show with how it sits on the boat.

the bench seats on my ski boat are made with something like a foam support board glued to the bottom of the seat foam and the vinyl is wrapped and stapled to it. As would be expected, someone jumped into the boat (onto the seat) from the dock and broke the foam support board. I need to fix it...
