Pearl 2/16/2012-11/7/2023

You will be missed sweetheart! Pearl was diagnosed with a large tumor on her liver last week. The prognosis was not good so we treated for what we could and kept her as close to the Pearl of old as we could. She passed peacefully with us at home. [font "Segoe UI...

    12' Poke Boat

Moving along a Poke Boat kayak. 12' long, very stable and light, guessing around 40lbs or less. Used but good condition, no cracks etc. Always stored inside and out of sun UV and weather. $650. Located in Shapleigh, Me ($600 to me/$50 to the site)

    Online Outboards?

Hi Jeff, I can't speak to the online process, but I did run a 25hp 2 stroke Suzuki on my Devlin when I had it. I did not have any issues with it at all. On the Yamaha side of things, it would only cost you a phone call, but might be worth it you are considering that brand. New England...

    Happy Father's Day y'all

I haven't switched over to bait yet Dani. The hardware has still been producing well. Flatfish work well for Togue (lake trout) here. https://www.yakimabait.com/products/flatfish-f-3-to-f-7-treble/ I just troll them with sinking trolling line to get them close to or on the bottom and the...

    Happy Father's Day y'all

Thanks Dani, spent the morning chasing our local lake trout around on the lake that I live on. Always nice to just walk to the dock instead of trailering somewhere.

    Sea duck decoysI have known.

Very nice Bob. The two eiders I have from you will be out in the salt as part of my own hunting spread this season, floating with some LL Bean eiders and other carver's blocks that I have acquired. The cork scoters have been hard at work since I picked them up. Hope all is well. Troy

    OK, Poke Boat Fans . . . .

I saw a lady unfold one at Marblehead on the Saco a couple years ago. Never did see her come back, lol. It looked like it was just coroplast material. I would curious how long the fold creases remain intact and water tight.

    Poke boat

Hi Worth, If it's a "Maxi" and the price is reasonable, I would get it. I have 2 Maxi poke boats and a "regular" poke boat. The regular one is fine too but the maxi boats are really stable. Here's a picture of a client with my lab Pearl in one of the Maxi boats. Super stable. Good luck
