    Safety on the water.

Stay safe guys. This one isn't good: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14222477/Andruw-Wesley-Cornett-missing-California-brothers-duck-hunting.html I ran into some ugly water this last Saturday. Luckily I was in a 13' boat with a 25hp motor. These poor kids were in a kayak.

NEW Flapper Boards for Duck Boss 13

Broc, Assuming the molds are the same, these are compatible with the Duck Invader 13 as well, correct? I'd be interested in learning more about them. This solves a problem with these boats.

    Small spread make up.

Depends where you are. I rarely ever hunt more than 14-15 decoys here in NJ for ducks. My spread is usually: 6 black ducks - Almost always. 6 of a staple species that's around - It might be gadwall, or pintail, or sometimes even mallards if I'm in an area with a good amount. Teal in the early...

US Drought Monitor: Not Looking Good for Anyone

I live not far from both those fires. The Pompton one was about 5 min away and W Milford one is about 15-20 min. I'm not worried because they would need to jump major highways, go downhill, and more to get to me...but its still really bad. I've never seen it this dry with this many fire issues...

US Drought Monitor: Not Looking Good for Anyone

We're in trouble here in NJ. Hearing from buddies: No birds, for the most part. Early season teal either skipped right over or are north still. No fresh water to be found. As for the wildfires, we have them now up here in Passaic and Morris which is not good. The fire departments cant get water...

Welcome! This is a great place to probably find things about vintage duck boats that you probably won't find anywhere else. You'll also see a lot of information on newer boats here too. Duck Boss/Invader, Bankes, TDB, etc.

You have to catch the one with Bobby Keeney for sure. Bobby is like the historian for BBSB's. His family owns the marina right around the corner from the Seaport in Tuckerton. I've never met Bobby personally but I have hunted with some of his friends. He goes in detail about the NJ culture, old...

Duckboats.net Guest Appearance and Site History on Duck Season Somewhere Podcast

Eric, What I like about his show is he covers it top to bottom: He will talk about hunting barnacle geese in the Netherlands. Then he talks about hunting pintail in California. He then sits down with Bobby Keeney in NJ and talks about BBSB boats. After that, he goes into conservation. It's...

Listened to it today. Very nice episode, Eric. Ramsey's show is pretty cool. I listen to it frequently. He's done sitdowns with some NJ folks to. Nice to listen to another familiar face at the table.

25 hp Mercury 2 Stroke SOLD

Bump for a good motor. I had a 1995. Treated me well but I upgraded to a F25 Yamaha brand new with electric start. These are some of the lightest 25's out there. Should be about 112 - 115 lbs.

Jim, I just came across the Dive Bombs. They look nice. How is the front zipper while sitting in the boat?

    KUIU waders review

A member on here recently told me that Frogg Toggs makes the waders for Rogers, can anyone confirm that?

On mine, I'm trying to determine if it's blood, or sauce from the Wawa breakfast burrito I ate half awake on my way to the ramp at 3am in the morning lol.

    H weights mold.

I am still looking for a 16oz mold myself if anyone has any. If not, I'll probably have to cut a mold with a router.

    ISO: Waterfowl Sweater

I had no issues, for years, bringing it to the dry cleaner. I would take it once mid-season, then at the end. Last season I took it, left it on the hanger in the plastic. When I pulled it out it fit horribly. I was livid. I took it to them and they said they would "fix it." They made it better...

    ISO: Waterfowl Sweater

Phil, I am a big Filson guy and was going to save my pennies for one of those. The windstopper layer was the deal breaker for me. If they added that, I'd probably have bought that over the Cabelas and Macks.
