So i got to test the boat out this past summer, and it was super stable, and floated right about where i wanted it too. I'm about to paint it up this week. Any ideas on how to attach a splashguard?

sorry guys been in Arkansas the last week Killin puddle ducks. otw home now. it is a 4x8 boat. the coffin part is I think 74 inches long x 36 inches at the widest part... it is tapered to more narrow at the feet and head... it weighs about 70 lbs right now... there will be several float tests...

hopefully not like a rock... if I figured it right it should ride abut half inch above the bottom edge with me and my gear

after the covery cured for 24 hrs I flipped her over and went to work covering the bottom. I'm headed to Arkansas tomorrow for a week so it's gonna have to wa it tIL I get back to finish it up, but there's not much more to do really.

got the cover shaped up and glassed over. starting to come together nicely

I know this is not a commercial quality glassing job, but it is my first attempt at it, so hopefully it is functional and it holds up. I did clean up the ecxess resin from the floor of the boat prior to finishing up for the night

Didnt get a lot done last night but I did put in a lightweight frame for the top to sit on, and screwed and epoxied it into place, as well as fastened the top to the boat. Now all I have to do is form the top and clean it up and glass it, and the top will be ready for paint (after prep of course).

well I had an eventful weekend with the layout. I was off and it was raining so I figured I would jump right in after doing a little research. I got it formed up all but the top, and glassed over it last night. A few YouTube videos on glassing helped a lot. I took a pic prior to glassing but...
