No problem sir. That's a great lil load, I dont have my 28 gauge anymore due to Berettas crappy QC in the a400 line and the internal parts showing very bad wear, very quickly. I'm watching to see if they bring out a 28 bore in the a300 line, if they do I will have one but if not before next...

    Shooting and Cooking Ducks

I'm down to try. 🤔🤔🤔🤔 How much choke it would need to hold a 75% pattern at 40 yards 😂😂😂

    New - Boat build advice

I have been building a boat called "duckhunter". Plans use to be sold by a company called Gator duck boats. But they have long been out of business. However on this forum under the duck boat spec section you can see some pretty detailed pics of the boat in question. And I still have my set of...

This load use's longshot. I got this load from Hal over at super-18 tungsten shot.com, if you buy shot from him he will give you any of his pressure tested load data he has for the gauges you shoot. I have 12,16,20,28 and 410 load data from him. Both pure tss and steel/tss duplex loads. I...

    New - Boat build advice

Devlin boats are very stable. Well the ones I have been around were at least. The few boats I have built were a different design because of my hunting needs but they too are very stable and due to their flat and wide bottom very shallow drafting. I wouldn't stand on their decks to fish, but I...

    New - Boat build advice

Honestly that's to many requirements for one boat. Anything that's small enough and light weight enough to be portaged over dykes. Is to small and unstable to, stand on decks and fish. Anything that's long enough and wide enough to be stable and shallow drafting and powered by a motor for...

Triple b metals owned by Brent merryman. Has the best prices, around 35$ a pound with a discount of you buy 10lbs or more if I remember correctly. Hal over at super-18 shot.com has a ok price per pound not the cheapest but he has the most extensive, most detailed load data library for just...

I haven't used any bismuth myself but have seen friends and family use factory bismuth shells and they seemed to give a bit of advantage over steel shot. I still load my own lead shells for tree rats, rabbits, use to load my own lead turkey shells s well. But the last few years I started...

Dang I would have thought with all the folks on here who like to do things their way and build things to fit their needs, that some of y'all would be handloading your own waterfowl loads. Oh well guess I will save those conversations for other forums I'm on.

Garboard vs copper tube and plugs?

Well I have decided.... There will be no transom plug in this up coming boat. Going to run my typing 2 bilge pump setup with one rigged on float setting and the other rigged to flip on by switch. Going to take Steve's advice and get me a couple of blocks of foam for sponging the lil bit of...

Arkansas Opener Video from Public Land

So who cares. My reply is the best way to fix the issues. Can't make a egg 🥪 with out breaking eggs. They let that stupidity go on for too long. Now the only way to break it is to break bank accounts and put people out of the game with arrest and financially burdens. Nothing changes a mans...

Garboard vs copper tube and plugs?

It can be when the wind kicks up. I hunt super shallow waters, but I still have to travel through deeper sections to get to the dock. With the waters filled with stumps from before the lake was filled, there are times when I have no choice but to take waves across hull sections that will put...

Arkansas Opener Video from Public Land

That stupidity right there is why I will never hunt Arkansas public again after last year. I don't know the kid doing the vid, but him and everyone with him in that vid is what's wrong with waterfowl hunting now. Don't really care if my opinion ruffles feathers. The only way to stop the...

Like the title says gents. Who is handloading and what y'all handloading? The last few years I have been doing tss/steel duplexes and pure tss handloads for 🦆/geese/🦌 hogs and predators. 1 oz duplex of 50/50 tss/steel at 1450 fps with a cylinder choke is amazing on waterfowl inside 50 yards 1...

    Refinishing your duck gun

I had a remmy sportsman 12 auto (cheap 1100) completely refinished metal and wood a few years ago It was north of 600 bucks but man did it look amazing. Looks like a beat to heck crappy again now but still goes bang every time. Nother 5 to 10 years I might get it redone again. Think I used...

    Real Name Headaches

Seems like if they can do that. They can set it up to give a pop up when they hit submit. That clearly tells them use your real name or you will not be allowed in. And make them type their name and hit click. Before it will go through. Something like that would fix the issue I'm sure.
