Looking for a Golden Retriever or Nova Scotia Toller, breeder recommendations needed

We lost our last retriever after a great run of over ten years and many happy memories. Now the time has come for a new pup to take over the reigns. I am in need of some help finding a reputable breeder. I do not want a puppy mill dog and I can't seem to find anyone in the Long Island area or in...

    Some Great South Bay Broadbill

Zane, We get big rafts of them every year along the south shore. Sometime they show up very late in the season if the winter is mild.

    Some Great South Bay Broadbill

Here is some video of BB on the Great South Bay from a few weeks ago. I'm not sure how well you will be able to see them . They were making their way along the coastline.

    Fishing out of duck boat

No reason not to use your duck boat all year long. If I am going out by myself I will take it spear fishing, clamming, crabbing or for just about anything instead of taking my bigger boats. At times I will take it out with just two of us fishing if I am staying in the bay. Get out and use that...

    Some Great South Bay Broadbill

Nice photos Steve. I was on a sea trial last week running from Great River out towards New Inlet and saw the sky turn black with thousands of BB when I was off Bayport.

It is nice to be back at DHBP

Steve, The tubes are filled with air and have multiple chambers so if one was to get damaged the others will still hold air. The photos did not show the seats or saddles are they are called. They are comfortable but are still at the upholstery shop and will be installed shortly.

It is nice to be back at DHBP

Thanks guys. It has been a while. I have not been working on anything "Ducky" lately but I have been staying busy building a new work shop and restoring an ex-Navy RIB. The boat was in service in the Persian Gulf and beat up pretty bad by the time I received it. It took me a year to finish...

Anybody own a Grizzly or Shop Fox tool?

If you have the room, look into a used Shopsmith. It is a great machine and made in the USA. The basic machine is a drill press, horizontal boring machine, table saw, lathe and disc sander.
