    Raka Epoxy Sale

Eric-it just so happens I need some epoxy, and I need some help on what I should get an how much. I am putting a new floor deck in my blackjack. I already have the ply wood done, and need enough to put it down in the boat and a few other small spots. Any guidance is helpful, I just don't want to...

    1989 Arthur Anderson Blackjack

I have had and used both, and Anthony is right, the wigeon handled better in a chop. I have had a blackjack for many years now, but my hunting is done in tidal creeks off Delaware Bay that are somewhat protected, and any choppy waters I'm in are generally for shorter stretches, so it is not an...

    NDR--for now. And fish!

Wow, those sturgeon are something. There are some sturgeon in the Delaware, and I believe both shortnose and Atlantic, but not in big numbers. That is quite a spectacle. Maine does it again!

    1989 Arthur Anderson Blackjack

I think Eric is right about it being a Broadbill, I believe the Blackjack is a later model. I have seen and heard discussed kit Broadbills but never a kit Blackjack. I think if you get a picture the model can be identified.

    NDR--for now. And fish!

Nice fish Jeff! I love backwater striper fishing in the creeks off Delaware Bay near my hunting shack. As good light tackle fishing you will find.

    New member with first sneakboat

Hi Jim-I read this Friday on my phone while in Pentwater. I was in Michigan to see some relatives. I have one of those also. You definitely need at least a 15, and a 25 would be better. Roy gives you great advice, I have had to tear up the floor and am in the (long for me) process of putting it...

    Federal regulations for duck

This is an example of why duckboats.com is THE place for important duck hunting info of all types. Only highly experienced waterfowlers know this stuff.

    Is Alabama alone in this?

OK you crow shooters, here is a fly tier that needs a pair of crow wings. We can figure out something in a trade if you want to provide them. I just need the primaries on the wing, but do need the wings complete so I can match up the quills.

    New Ram weight loss....

Good luck William. I unknowingly bought a VW diesel in 2014 expecting to get 300K or about on it(I do take good care of my vehicles). I realized about 5 years later it was destined to fail early. The trouble started around 100K, and just got worse from there. I finally realized that the...

    Spammers & Scammers

I fear the digital situation with the things described are only going to get worse with the advent of AI and supercomputers. I think it is going to get more expensive to protect yourself and run robust enough software in any internet connected device, business, et al to be able to counter it...

    Inlet Runner garvey

I'm likely in this camp also Steve-but I do still live close to the salt, so who knows? If I change my mind, maybe you can build it for me!

    Inlet Runner garvey

I love the garvey. After I got rid of my old Robalo CC which I kept in Barnegat Light for fishing the ocean and the bay, I thought that if I ever get a boat for the shore again it would be for the bay only and would be a garvey. And it would be built locally and be wood. In the right water, like...

Anyone know a rail hunting guide in NJ

One other thing William-when you do this wear cheap sneakers, not rubber boots, because the latter will just get sucked off never to be found again. The former may also, but you won't care.

Anyone know a rail hunting guide in NJ

If you have a shallow drafting canoe, you could probably do the marshes on Delaware Bay. You need the highest tide of the cycle to be in the day and a full moon tide. You really would just have to plan around that and you could probably get around for a couple of hours on top of the meadows. You...

Anyone know a rail hunting guide in NJ

The coastal marshes have harder ground for sure and are quite different than the Delaware Bay marshes. Not that you can't find mud hole on the former. But it would be a better option where you're talking about for walking. I used to hunt some of them, mostly from Tuckerton south, and walk out to...

Anyone know a rail hunting guide in NJ

Not really William, it is unstable ground and it is not hard bottomed in most places. I'm not saying you couldn't do it, but it is very difficult to go far without going in up to your knees or deeper in mud. Then you have to get out, which is much harder than getting in. I would not advise it.

Good post William. They were people of all stripes and flavors that came together for freedom and so we could all enjoy it.

    AA Blackjack Floor Repairs

Hi Dennis-I was going to separate them, took off the rub rail, drilled out the rivets, then found there was nowhere that I could get any type of blade between the two halves. It was still sealed extremely tightly after 30 some years and I realized that I would be foolish to create a problem I...

    Whatcha Listening To?

Carl-sometimes I have that problem, usually I can right click and capture the url then paste it into the browser and then get it. See if that works for you.
