    Duck Hunting Property for Sale

I might know the owner of that place. If so, the hunting is good there and he has had it a long time and he would be in his 70's today.

    Spring Migration 2026

I like to ride over to the Delaware across the river from north Philly in the winter to see what's around. I see some diving ducks there that I don't see where I hunt because I am a marsh hunter and the only divers I see are bufflehead and mergansers. Anyway, I missed going there at the end of...

    New here, sort of.

Well German, you have a great neighbor to help you with that Heinrichs box. That will be a beautiful boat again when you are finished

    Charcoal Lab

Hi Dan-just curious if that is the color coat the dog will have for it's life or will it darken as it gets older? And maybe you don't know.

Moving stuff - how do you decide?

Do you have any of those tire planters where you cut the rubber so it looks like a tulip?

Moving stuff - how do you decide?

The bucket of turkey parts has to go, and since you have that, you must have some old coffee cans filled with nuts and bolts that your father and grandfather saved. You should get rid of those also. Let me know if you need any more advice.

DNR Rescues Duck Hunters From River

Something similar happened to me once here in NJ. I was hunting on Great Bay Boulevard, which is a peninsula that sticks out into and divides Little Egg Harbor from Great Bay and is on the south end of Long Beach Island. You can find it on google earth or any other map if interested. It is a...

Searching for BBSB project boat to hunt and sail

You might want to contact Dave Diefenderfer here, he had a Sam Hunt sailing box he was looking to sell last fall. You can't find a more classic sneak box than that. I don't think it needed a restoration either. https://duckboats.net/community/threads/sam-hunt-bbsb.355992/

    $4 a shell? Holy cow!

Most non-toxic ammo that is denser than steel has been very volatile in price since the various types have been introduced. Sometimes they are available for 3-4 years, but they all seem to have pricing swings and availability issues or bankruptcies among the actual manufacturers of the shot...

What is your wind tolerance for boat based hunts???

I just hunt a salt marsh today, and like Mike-SID, over 15 MPH and gusts I just don't go anymore. Mostly that is because, at least where I hunt, I find the birds sit tight in that wind and don't move around much. That's just my own experience hunting that marsh. I will hunt a field or a land...

    Who's out this morning?

This photo is a perfect representation of mid-Atlantic black duck country. It has everything in it, including the ducks. The scrub pine on the edge of marsh looks just like several spots I hunt in south Jersey and have hunted in Maryland, and they look the same down in tidewater Virginia. And...

    Nebraska Upland Slam

There were some around still in the 80's in south Jersey, but very few remain. Back then a friend had a shorthair and we would do 1/2 hour hunts before work and sometimes find one of the coveys on the property. They are a great bird to hunt over dogs, even though I only ever shot a few. Feral...
