Maybe it was the sun/heat that caused it to swell and raise the deck. But after storing it in the barn this summer it went back down. Left with just the crack.

I have a BB3 that I built some years ago. My son used it last year and didn't take the plug out and it filled with water and sat a long time that way. In the back are where the flotation is it swelled and separated the deck from the sides. After letting it dry out all summer the swelling went...

I'm sure this has been asked or tried even. I have a BBIII that has a 25 hp outboard on it now works fine. But was wondering how the new mud motors not the long shafts but the surface drive ones would work on the BBIII. Can't get in the real shallow stuff now.
