    Locking Gun Rack

I am basically stating the same thing. But it was my first time looking at those style racks from both companies. I am just pointing out to the OP that they still should be supervised just in case he thinks that it is perfectly safe around kids. Especially since he mentions "But I'm not going...

    Winter is here. Who’s hunting?

Another quality non-shedding duck, upland game, blood tracker, and shed hunter dog is a Pudelpointer. You might check them out as well.

    Locking Gun Rack

I looked at the Santa Cruze Gunlock and I saw they have a Gunlock Safety Precautions listed in the website. I see they are temporary and not to used for permanent storage and firearm should not be left unsupervised while usin it. (See Below). I also looked at the TufLoc website and I could not...

    Small spread make up.

I’m based in Central Missouri (Jefferson City) and have been duck hunting for just a little over 25 years. My main decoy focus is mallards, with a mix of wigeons and pintails, though I’m still hoping to add some gadwalls and shovelers to my list. Back in the day, I used to think bigger was...

    Socks

I have heard from others that alpaca socks are very nice, especially socks made from young alpaca wool. Most have specified the Hollow brand as the best. I have not tried them yet but I do have them saved in my Amazon wish list to buy at some point. They seem to have many different styles as...

NDR need your help with calculations and Mathematics

Quick question for all you using plastic film gurus... My windows are the original 1959 single pane wood windows and I have been using the plastic film you by at Lowes, Menards, etc. But for the last 20 years, I just do the normal double sided tape route and throw them away each year of use...

    New Decorations

Does anyone else ever wish they had 5 dozen of each duck and goose species with different poses of Don Mintz flocked and airbrushed decoys? Or is it only me? 😁 Every pic he posts on here, I sit there and stare in amazement of the quality, workmanship, and artistry he puts in them. Keep up the...

    Areomarine 2 man duck boat

The easy fix might be to just adjust the outboards trim or how it sits on the transom by adjusting the transom angle and/or height. But if that does not seem to work, then you might look into adding wedges to the bottom to help. You can research porpoising and wedges in the forum as it has...

    panel saw in shop

Wishing I had a large workshop I had no other choice to try to make a workshop out of my small one car garage. It is still a work in progress that I barely started. So I have to come up with a lot of ideas for compact, collapsible, out of the way type items. I have used Pinterest in the past...

    NDR about salt

You are correct, but also keep in mind that sea salt and Himalayan salt only have trace amounts of iodine. And iodized salt has the recommended daily amount and was added as a route of ensuring adequate iodine intake. These days there seems to be a lot more iodine deficiencies than in years...

    Lumber yard etiquette

I used to work in a lumber yard in my teens in the 80's. That lumber yard was owned by our neighbors back then and I grew up with their kids that now run it. Vince is spot on with his comment. We had a few individual public customers and contractors that would bring in food or gifts to staff...

    Cedar for sneak box.

I would search for lumber yards in the area and ask them if they are able to order what you need. Or if they know of places nearby the might carry in stock.

    Cedar for sneak box.

Where are you located in Missouri. I am in Jefferson City and I think a few lumber yards around here might have some or might be able to order some.

    Bud Miles #82

@Jamu and @Eric Patterson since both of you are not going to use the pour foam again, what would be your next choice. I have always thought that using empty thicker plastic bottles with caps on tight, in areas that usually need foam. Not sure how well that would work as far as bottle...

Here's an interesting idea, just get one of these, add some Blind Grass, a few mods for gun rack and decoy storage. Fast and great in shallow water. ;)
