I tried a SpeedBead once on a Maxus for almost a whole season. Then, the plate that goes between the stock and receiver broke. I gladly removed it and threw it in the trash, and gave the Burris FastFire3 away. Just wasn't for me. Hopefully that works out better for you.

Spinning up Staind at work today. While I love to hear Aaron Lewis scream and rage, this one is easier listening. Staind was the first band I ever saw in concert, along with Korn, circa 2000. It was an unforgettable experience.

If using Texas rigs with thick mono, after carabining them, take all the lines, and tie them in a knot near the dekes, then another half way up the mono lines. My longest Texas rigs are about 6 feet though. You may need several knots along the way for longer lines.

Not sure of the full story, but they were rabbit hunting in some thick stuff, and he was crawling around and trying to fool that newbie hunter into shooting at "nothing" by shaking some bushes, as I understand. He got pelted when the guy shot at the bushes he was shaking. Stupid kids doing...
