16' Brockway Skiff

Hey Jim,
Built my first one back in the early 90's for less than 500 all up. What a great time. Built in one weekend and painted in another. Fished, hunted and worked that boat to death.
My next one had more shape to it and was also a work horse. Good boats and as stated a long history on the CT coast.
Just about every CT construction co. had one if they did any bridge work as well as the clammers and oyster guys.

Hi Bob,

How did your boat do in the open ocean in waves two feet or bigger? Did it handle OK in some rough stuff? I was thinking of giving the Lumber Yard Skiff a go for stripers and sea ducks. Seems like a sturdy and seaworthy boat.

Nate
