3M 4200 is a polyurethane adhesive/sealant, PL premium construction adhesive/sealant is also a polyurethane product, both are waterproof , and remain flexible.
So.. what's the difference other then the PL stuff is half the price.
3M 5200 & 4200 are Marine Adhesive/Sealants which is much different than a construction adhesive/sealant. I'm not familiar with PL but have used many cases of 5200 for boats that we build and boats I've repaired.
