4 stroke vs @ stroke cold starting??

Right you are Lee.
Especially on 2 strokes as they are not getting oil in the mix and prolonged use of starting fluid can score the pistons etc. I have never had one or two quick blasts of the stuff to hurt a motor but it is not something I would do more than once or twice. It can get you going in a tight situation and like spare tire in a can,it is only to be used in almost emegency situations. Slow starting usually indicates various other problems.

There's an outfit that advertizes on e-bay via auctioning off some motors. They sell Yamaha small motors and have really competitive prices. I really like my Yammie 15 hp 2 stroke. It's very light, good on gas and usually starts with half a pull.
Hope you get what you want at a good price,
Harry
