Eric,
I'm real pleased with the pup. He is so smart and is quite headstrong at times. He use to bark at me as if to say "up yours" when I would tell him to sit prior to feeding him but he has learned that giving me lip and not doing as he is told just earns him a longer sit and wait before he gets fed. It's hard not to laugh at a young pup when he thinks he can conquer the world. As far as training goes, unfortunately I haven't been able to get into it like I hoped due to some things I'm working through but we are spending a lot of time together just around the house bonding and doing a lot of obedience which will pay off when we can get out in the field with some real birds. I have seen some pics of the other pups in the litter and there is another male that resembles Copper a lot but without the white blaze on his chest.
