5 week old pups

This probably will be the last batch of puppy pics for quite a while. We sure are having fun with them and of course that is short lived. In the next two to three weeks, they will all be gone, heading out to make some young child giggle, maybe to make a duck hunter proud and or showering that special person with all the love that they can handle. However, we were the lucky ones who shared in their lives for the first two months.

Thanks so much for those nice comments. As for Bailey, yes, she has a white blaze on her chest. Yesterday she was selected by a couple who live just north of here.

There is some cuteness right there. Butch looks like a trouble maker.

Tim

I got a kick out of those comments, Tim. I have a hunch that the "trouble maker" will end up in a duck blind next year. We'll see. That choice is going to happen soon.

Al,

Nothing like puppy breath! You aksed about Lucy a while back. She's doing well. Things have been hectic and not many photo ops lately. I have vids in my phone of her retrieving I need to download. This is pretty much how you'll find her if she's not trying to climb in my lap. In front of my desk with her head in her blanky!

Thanks for sharing,my yellow lab "Bailey" is pregnant now, pups due in about 3 weeks.I'm looking forward to it.

Steve, best of luck when that time comes for Bailey. I know you'll be by her side. I sure hope you plan on sharing some of those pictures.

Looking good Al!

Hey Doug, it is good to hear from you. Has it been you that is sending down all the sandhill cranes. In the last two days with a good north wind blowing, I have been hearing them as they head for Bosque del Apache. I'm hoping the ducks are doing the same thing. One week from this morning.

Al, You sure do have a cute bunch there. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Hi Tom,
With time flying by like it has been recently and knowing what is coming up in the next 3 weeks, I was happy to get this batch of pictures posted.

You are so right about puppy breath, then as they get older you begin going to the pet stores looking for dog breath mints!

Lucy is looking great, Ed. Chip loves his bunny! Seems like he can't go to sleep unless it is in his crate. Hmmm, seems that my kids were no different when it was bed time for them.
