We were vacationing last week in Nags Head, NC and while there I visited THE BIRD STORE, a local seller of decoys, hunting-related art, and other similar items.
I saw this reproduction gunning tray which contained a box of vintage shotgun shells and four shorebird decoys. The price was $285.
My first reaction was, "I can make that." Here are some results:
