Advice on seat covers

I just bought a new truck and this time i want to protect my seats from wet, dirty waders. I am looking at custom fitted neoprene covers but need advice on brands along with a trustworthy place to purchase. Of course they need to be camo......

Why, you hunt out of your truck?

Can't say on the expensive covers, but the $25 ones at Costco work pretty good with a little extra bungee cord fastening, and I'm in and out of the truck with bib foul weather gear after commercial fishing. But then I don't buy cloth seats either. lol. YMMV

I have purchased two sets of the marathon custom seat covers.in the cordura material and they are tough and waterproof .they fitment is great also.my first set was in max 4,I just bought a set for my new truck in max 5.I did the back seat the front seat and console top and bottom u can't beat them

When I was looking for seat covers I heard it said numerous times that wet waders and neoprene seat covers were incompatible. The neoprene seat covers are prone to mildew and an odor will linger in your car. I went with Marathon cordura covers. Can't tell you how I like them because I've yet to install them. They've been on the to-do list for a year...

Best neoprene seat covers on the market, in my opinion would be Wet Okole. Best fit and quality although you might have to take out a second mortgage to pay for them and wait a few weeks for delivery. As mentioned above, universal cordura covers seem to do the trick for a lot of people as well.

Mark,

[font=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica]I went with Marathon cordura covers also. I put them on in 2010 and use my truck as a daily driver. Just yesterday when I got out of my truck, I noticed that a seam on the outside edge of the drivers side was starting to open up. The stitching is starting to fail at that point. I suspect this particular seam sees a lot of flexing from me getting in and out. the seat I'm sure has more give than the cover (no stretch in cordura) and the stitching takes all the stress.

Even so, I've been real happy with these covers. I've gotten them muddy and they clean right up. They don't stay wet or hold oders (at least not that I can tell).

I've had the Wet Okole's and currently have the Marathon's. I was not impressed with the Okole's. I love the Marathons though.

Never thought of that about the neoprene, thanks Eric.

One more endorsement for Marathon seat covers, I have had mine on for three years, I use it a lot Doing retriever dog training ,and hunting, I have had a wet lab on the passenger seat from hunting to warm up and the product preformance is impressive.

Have you checked out the coverking brand cordura seat covers. Priced good on line . Just ordered front set for my sierra . Trying to keep muddy waders from ruining seats.
