The guide is not out yet, but here is the word on David Ranier's column on www.OutdoorAlabama.com

"Alabama's seasons are set for Nov. 23-24 and Dec. 1 through Jan. 27.
The daily bag limit is again six ducks with no more than four mallards (two hens), three wood ducks, one mottled duck, two redheads, four scaup, two pintails, one black duck and one canvasback. The proposed daily bag limit of mergansers is five, only two of which may be hooded mergansers.
Shooting hours are one-half hour before sunrise to sunset each day with the exception of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta. In the area north of Battleship Parkway, west of Alabama Highway 225, south of CSX Railroad tracks, and east of the west bank of the Mobile River, shooting hours for Monday through Thursday are one-half hour before sunrise to 12:00 noon, while Friday through Sunday shooting hours are one-half hour before sunrise to sunset."

Yep, this should be a great season for us. Have y'all been getting much rain up in the Tenn. River Valley?
We're getting drowned down here, at least an 1" every couple of days.

We are getting what seems like a good rain at least once a week. For those who have private spots this year should do really well.

My food plots got 1.5" a couple days ago. The drought was rough in June and part of July but once it broke we've been getting regular doses of summer thunderstorms.

Cool. Sounds like y'all are getting the rain you need.
We're getting too much, but given conditions in the rest of the country, I won't complain.

I am sure that with the north winds all the way to the coast with the "cold front" that passed through last night, we probably have or will have a pile of BWT in the Mobile-Tensaw Delta over the next couple of days.
Sure didnt feel like late august on the Gulf Coast when I walked out to 69 degrees and low humidity this morning.
It would be nice if summer was over but I am not opimistic about that, at least another month & half of summer for us.
