Yes, I sure can make one for you. There is one customer in front of you but he has not made his deposit yet. You may want to go over to my web site and look aroud a little. The site is nowhere near complete but it will give a good bit of information our boats.

My phone number is (804)413-2769. The web site is www.hollandpointmarine.net

Hope you like it.

Howard, that's some nice work there. Sadly, I am in the middle of starting my own business and duck hunting is on the back burner until I get stabilized. I cancelled my two duck trips last year and my crystal ball tells me that this year will be worse.

Both Morton and I are in the market for a small craft with a small motor (he's convinced that he's going to get a rower but I know him all too well, he'll get a motor too). I love that one-man boat you built. Is that your design?

Thanks, Andrew.

Howard ,

Andrew is correct , we both need something like that what do you figure that thing weighs? Do you think an electric motoer like a Minn cota 3 something pound thrust would push it ? i am thinking about something i can use in area marshes where gas motors are off limits . It has to only hold myself and my lab with about 1/2 doz dekes , of coarse all the other stuff we tend to bring , like Andrew's makeup bag and a cooler for prime rib , he is so hard to hunt with he has alot of demands you know . Don't worry he will be having you build one before the season . HAHAHA . Thanks !

Andrew,

The original plan is from the old Boat Builders Handbook. I add a "real" transom and made a few other minor mods to add capacity, horse power and safety.

Dave,

The boat comes in about 150 or so. I can load mine into my truck by myself pretty easily. I hunt with me Sneed (125 lbs) and usually about 2 doz dekes. A 2.5 Merc or 3 hp Gamefisher works well. A trolling motor should push it just fine.

Ya know, I'll bet I could add oar locks on the next two. Come to think of it, it wouldn't be too hard to put a pedestal mount in the floor so you could sit in a better position to row. In fact, you could put another mount in the existing seat. That way you coould use the same folding seat for a motor or rowing.... hmmmm

Dave, at least I have a camo makeup bag.

Thanks again Howard, I like your website by the way.
