Another Season is in the books, some video 4u

Our season has drawn to a close COLD COLD COLD and I have inventory Thursday at work so I put the boat away tonight and got all the brush off of her. That was a COLD undertaking -7 today with the wind chill, not a day to be on the river alone thats for sure.

Anyways lookin back at the season I can only be thrilled with the results. 92 Ducks for gordy excluding a dozen or so coots that teased us to much. He did great for a young dog. His birthday is the 14th of this month and he will get his own cake (cup cake). Great season had more fun than I have had in the past few years and Im looking forward to next september already.

I hope this link works for the Videos. Yes gordy has a MYSPACE page... lol Go there and click on VIDEOS and they are there. Not the best quality but was nice to have more than stills of this year hunts.

Myspace is full of predators and Gordy is a young pup. Make sure he doesn't give his real name and address to any bitches he meets there....lol

I was going out this morning and try to find a pheasant or two but by the time I got my stuff loaded in the Jeep my ears were frozen....Man it's been cold the last few days. I did a little shooting but with the camera.

My friends were back today. My wife commented "the hunters of old would have jumped for joy with an opportunity of having geese that close to adorn the table". With logic like that I have to admit it is temping.



Then we had some new visitors. I need a better camera but these two had big old bands around their necks. We've never had swans around the place before so this was a special treat.



I want to thank you for having me aboard this year. I had a good time. We'll have to do it again next year.

Good job Gordy. I think everyone could tell you were having a fun season Dave. : ) I'm glad you took so many pictures, he'll never be that young looking again.

It always sucks to put the boat away, but it sure frees up alot of time!
