Any news on Boz?

I don't know Lee. I sent a PM and an email to him earlier hoping his family would see it and let us know. Haven't heard anything yet.

Just got an email. He's HOME already. Went well..............I'm sure he will be checking in here at some point.

I'm home. They got the cyst that was pressing on that sciatic nerve so the heavy leg pain is gone. Just some surgical site pain which is tolerable. Thanks for asking. I'll be ready for hunting in couple of weeks hopefully.

Thanks for checking in. Myself and others have been thinking about you and am glad to hear the procedure went well. I'm confident you'll be out and hunting in short order.

Good to have you back.

Wis Boz,

It's good to hear that everything went well. I hope you have a full and speedy recovery.

Boz,

I put your phone # in my wallet, a couple weeks ago, to give you a call about hunting. I am sorry to say I did not know you were having surgery. I know you were having some leg problems when I was at your place. Since the WI season started, I have been a bit out of touch. I will catch-up with you soon.

Be well

Mike

Wis Boz:

Opening weekend was a bust. I had to work all day Saturday--could only get out for a couple of hours on Sunday morning. Nothing flying where we were. The low water has my favorite early season spots inaccessible right now.

Looking forward to next weekend. I'll take Evan out for his first deer hunt. Pics on Monday (I hope).

Boz,

I hunted opening day alone, got my 3 wood ducks before 11 am, and went home. Sunday the low water gave me fits in the dark. Got to where we we going and there were plenty of people there so we pulled out and went and found another spot. Only killed one duck, but saw a lot of interesting stuff and plan to hunt the spot this weekend with a different decoy spread.

One of my buddies has been out every morning this week and called me before 7 am today to tell me he killed 6 BWT in 3 shots. They just blew in, first bluewings he has seen this week.

Sounds like you are getting some shooting anyway. Had to go into the ER last nite. The bowels and bladder shut down. More damn fun. I don't suppose you want to mention where you were hunting so was it the big river or the smaller river or pot holes. That had to be flock shooting 6 with 3 shells--just kidding but the sight of those BWT boring in on you is always fun and takes some fast shooting. Thanks for filling me in.
