anybody got any idea what these decoys are worth?

Dont get too excited these are supposedly collectable but there are no Masons etc here.

I got these when I bought some other duck stuff and I forgot about them but now I got to clean out my shed and may sell them to finance another project. I have been told these are from the 50's. If I post something in error feel free to set me straight on the facts and maybe what their estimated worth may be. Might put them up on evilbay.

First up some ancient Carry Lites Imperial 3000 Mallards. Good condition and appear original.

Next up these are foam with wood keel and a movable head. Kind of like Herter's but hollowed out and pretty light in comparison.
Supposedly from the Fen-Bay Decoy Co in Mobile, AL. I have several blacks some in pretty good shape and others pretty beat up. I also have a drake Mallard in real good shape. Supposedly pretty rare? They appear to be the original paint.

These are plastic Victor D-9 Mallards. very good condition and appear original.

Thanks very much,

If those really are from Mobile, they might not be black ducks, they could be mottled ducks!
Never heard of that company, I will see if I can track something down.

Carl thanks for the help. I keep getting dead ends on my search for these. A gentleman on another forum informed me these were from Fen-Bay Decoy Co. in Mobile, AL. He had, and sold, a bunch of Canvasbacks from them on evil-bay. He thought the ones I had were pretty rare. He's the one who thought the ones I had were blacks. Heck, if they made mottled decoys thats even cooler! I might just keep a couple.

We hunt Mottled ducks here in FL. Most hunters end up using blacks and hen mallards decoys since they are pretty close and readily available to those of us with no decoy carving skills. I have Herter's black ducks touched up to look like mottled ducks in my spread. The mottled ducks (aka FL mallards) never knew the difference.

Thanks again,
Tony S

I have a bunch of those victor decoys I still use and kill a lot of ducks over them every season, they are great for the kayak
nice and lite and they work.

Those Victors look pretty tough. Still almost perfect paint for as old as they are. I hunt a kayak canoe specific area and the lighter the gear the better!!

Too bad I can't embrace those carry lite foamers!! Still no word on those uglies in the first photo. C'mon someone has to know something about those beauties.LOL

Me too! I got them from my old hunting partner back home in Montreal must be 20 yrs ago! It's a bit of a pain to wind really long lines arounf the keel, but otherwise a great looking decoy.
