D. Geer?
A customer turned me loose on a project, which included a bufflehead decoy, made in 2000, by D. Geer, to repair prop damage.
The maker made a pretty simple stool, with nice lines and shape. I was intrigued by the way he inletted the keel to fit a lead weight, which was inserted into two angular cuts in the keel.
The birds i am rehabbing include a 1998 whistler drake and the two buffies. All were made of BSC, and well crafted.
Any help would be appreciated.
Would have sent shots to Sanford for posting, but the only one i have is an angled shot, showing the rehab to the starboard side of the buffy.
The maker's name was scribed into the lead, along with date.
