Anyone hunt NC?

I hunt down here on the pamlico sound and I was just wondering if there was anyone else on this form that layout hunted in NC?
 
I was down there for vacation this year and really wanted to make it down to hunt some time.
On the ferry ride to Ocracoke I was amazed by the number of blinds in the bay.
I would like to give a curtain blind a try if I make it there.
 
I was also on the ferry to Ocracoke a few years back and saw all the blinds. As retirement is getting close I would like to know the regulations for layout hunting in that area. Kinda figured that my MLB would look pretty good there. It's on my bucket list..........

I'm a new arrival in NC, have TDB and no place to go... Time to start finding places to hunt.

I used to when i lived there......used to layout in the seaduck zone off-shore in Pamlico sound....

Bill, if you are hunting the coast the best area is pailco sound.....the waters north of there have some really tough laws and are not much access....

Pamilco and waters south will hold plenty of ducks if you are off-shore....
