well after months of saving scraps of ply wood from the dumpster at work along with a good number of 2x4's me and my hunting partners have built are own duck blind. we prefabed it in the drive way and took it apart in sections and had it up and built in just a few hours yesterday. standing 12'x7'x6' she is going to take a hell of alot to brush but we are glad to have a spot to call are own for the nasty weather days. she definetley is not pretty to look at with being pieced together but once we brush her in you wont be able to tell the difference.

Chris, it is going to work just fine. The beauty of it all is that you worked hard saving scraps and odds n ends to make it all come together. There will be that day this coming duck season where you all will thoroughly enjoy its comforts. Congrats.

PS
I will enjoy seeing a couple of straps of ducks hanging from it this fall. Take pics---

we will be out painting it in a week or so. wasnt much of a design we just kind of eyebald it and made it just short enough for are tallest hunting partner to see over. its a great location right off of a large body of water with a creek that runs back behind it and a smaller cove to the left. we hunted it last year first just hiding in the grass then in layouts and we had a few good hunts shooting a mix bag of divers and puddlers. we are all itching for a big drake canvas back none of us have had the chance to get one yet and its on all are bucket lists. ill be sure to post up more pictures.
