Armistice Day Storm remembered....

Today is the 68th anniversary of this infamous storm. I've scanned a magazine article(pdf format) and it is pretty large to post here, so if anyone would like to read it, e-mail or PM me and I'll e-mail it to you. It's a pretty good article with several first hand accounts.

Jeff,

I was out in ND this past week. We went from tee shirts and 70, to 15 degrees, 22" of snow and 50 mph winds out there on the farm we stayed at. I can appreciate that storm more now having gone through that storm. We hunted for most of the day, but then when the winds kicked up past 40 it was too much. At least we could go inside...I could not imagine sitting in a slough all day/noc in those conditions dressed how many of them were.

Send me a copy too please,

thanks.

Jeff, I'm sure you will get overwhelming response on this one. This storm is one that duck hunters take to heart. I carry in my boat what I call "Armistice Day Kit". I would appreciate a copy, will PM snail mail addy.

Me to please -Sad day at work today no official mention of veterans day. The public education system must be afraid of offending someone. Maybe we can use our citizens tax dollars to put in foot washing stations for the muslims
