There is no name as to who made the punt gun. A number of gun makers in the UK made punt guns, including Holland and Holland, W&C Scott, Greener, along with a score of smaller makers. Since the gun came from Ireland it very well may have been made there? Whoever made the gun did a good job. I have seen and shot several punt guns (made a shot of 14 wigeon and teal in Northern Ireland with a gun that was the largest I've seen, a double barrel that shot 16oz from each barrel) and the one currently up for sale is one of the best. Aside from the gun and punt, the kit box for the brass shells and reloading tools is a knock out. The O'Loughlins told me recently that the four barrel battery is included in the package. Just hope someone ends up with this as it is a chance that doesn't come around often.
