Show this little guy playing in the mud.

Not the best pics, but thought I'd share.

Excellent Capt. Brian. I am a bit jealous......you're out there with those spring migrants, and I am stuck behind my carving bench!! Love that teal, he is one handome bird! Thanks for posting! I received your package....thanks very much. I will be wearing your hat next winter hiding in the rocks at Bvrtl !!

Being a waterfowler for a few years, I don't think that I ever truly appreciated how beautiful the birds are. Sure I've always admired them, but now I see them is a new light so to speak. When I see pics as good as yours, it makes me want to put the gun down sometimes and just shoot pictures. Same as Gary March's pic. He says that he hunts alone but I am a bit skeptical that he can take those beautiful picks and then drop a double ouot of the flock that he just took photos of. My camera would be broke in ten minutes.
The GWT is one of my favorites. Thanks for posting.

When I initially saw that photo I was thinking "man that is a LONG band" ala Jack Miner but I took a look at the only teal band I have on my lanyard and I guess that size band is longer in perspective to the standard mallard band.

Great shots!
