Bandsaw blade recommendation

What brand and sizes of bandsaw blades would you recommend for cutting out decoy blanks and resawing. My bandsaw is on back order, from what I hear the blade that comes with the saw isn't that good so I'm thinking of picking one up before it gets here.
Thanks in advance.

Jet-- Get the one with a riser block so that you can get a 12 inch cut. Made lots of decoys with mine, and never a problem

1/4" Hook or skip tooth; 4 TPI is best all purpose, esp for cork birds. May want to go to 3/8 for wood bodies, but the 1/4 should be fine.
At any rate, it's the 4 TPI that's important - standard "weekend woodworker" blades with say 12 TPI will be useless.
Never have been big on dropping $30 and upward on a "Brand" name. Find a saw blade shop if you can and have them make 'em up for you @ $12 - $15 or so.

J Russell,
I already ordered the saw, I went with a Grizzly. I was looking for info on blades.

Thanks for the advice MLBob.

I agree with Bob. 4 TPI is what I like to use too. Grizzly's blades are good and the price is right.

Lee Harker turned me on to this site, industrial silicone blades, 1/4" 4 tpi (just like Bob said too) I have used the 4 I bought from them 5 years ago on darn near everything. Finally broke one and that was when I was sawing 10" maple and I was trying to push the blade farther than it should have on the curve (too impatient to let the saw work) Othewise, simply love them.

Olsen blades are POS in my opinion.

If you went with the Grizzly 0555 model with 6" riser, you need 105" blades.
