Does anybody sell plans for a bbsb with a planing type hull I would also like to find out more info on the Roy BOATS I HAVE SEEN ON HERE. THANKS DENNIS

Hi Dennis,

Lots of the Devlin boats, while not true BBSB's can handle similar needs and are available as Planeing hulls. I modified and built a Mallard about 5 years ago that works well. Since then I've helped build a few Devlins Bluebill's and these are great boats that can be built as drawn and also work nicely.

As you know alot of the Jersey guys love the Roy boats. They are real nice. All 'Glass and well built. To find out more you would have to call Roy , or get ahold of Glenn from this site. If you need phone numbers give me a call and I can get them to you..........................Jode

You can modify the displacement plans. All you have to do is stretch the middle station (mold station) out to the back of the craft. You can continue on with that beam (a lot of builders do) or you can modify it to taper to stern. Its not to hard to do.
After trying to find planning plans for a couple of years i finially went to this method and lofted my own set of drawings. Good luck!
