for their fall test. It was a great time and an example of a very strong club.

This was my first time to an HRC event and I really enjoyed the weekend. It helped set the bar for my pup to work in the future.

Putting on one of these hunt tests is an incredible amount of work and everything went perfect! The social Saturday night was great and the focus on children is key.

Thanks again and I highly recommend anyone to run with Southern Flight. I am looking forward to next year.

Best,
Steve McCullough

Way to go Travis,

Its been a while, but I am sure you guys had a ball and I bet some fine dogs ran.

Got any pictures?

Theres some pictures floating around, but I don't know how to do them. I'll see if I can't get something up. Ma Nature threw us a curve, we where already dealing with drought condtions, but werent planning on 95-98 degrees. The best thing about having the best judges, you can make a simple statement about 'remember the heat' and they can test dogs with that in mind (like a dovefield test with the longest bird 85 yards that was as good a series as had ever been thrown!). Wednesday afternoon I lost 2 big time judges from texas (one had a worker killed and the other was riding with him) and in 20 minutes I had replaced them with 2 more big time judges... one of which got sick and I had to judge for on sunday. Wudda killed a lot of places, but honestly we had plans and back up plans for everything. Doc's dog came within a hair of a finished pass sunday, the water blind was just a little too much... and for a dog that hr'd last week and had everything happen that happened to him, welp, thats a good show and something to be proud of. My 12 year old son, tj, his spooky puppy got her hr sat with me at the helm... and he was going to run her on sunday... welp, with me judging, he got to be big time. Every 12 year old ought to have a 50k dog truck to drive around, run mutiple stakes title a clients dog, and get his first seasoned pass... he came out to my site and said, dude, memphis (client started dog) killed the first bird, but the bird boy walked up to the line to take the bird and memphis bit him! I was like WHAT???? Naw man just kidding. Thats a cool charather... he came back after finishing his seasoned tests and said, well, I guess Im follwoing in your footsteps just lined my first blind dude! ha. Glad to see doc, as well as about 150 of my closest friends! we had a ball, thanks to everyone that came out. travis
