Birds,Britts and Guns

Finished up the last 11/2 doz birds.Five Thursday,six Friday,with the 28ga and seven Saturday with the .410 as I usually do on the last day of the season.Mostly singles and set one pair Fri and two pair Saturday.Managed to scratch down one pair on Sat.Patch made 15 nice retrieves on the birds I shot.We had a good year with the birds,especially Him.

Finished on Friday.Cass had something she wanted to tell me.

This is about as tense as Patch gets on point.Usually stands relaxed and waging his tail.

Man those are some nice pahtridges/pottidges. Bet the dog was tellin you where there were some more ! I hope Nash Buckingham is getting to do all that in Heaven.

Those are some great photo's Joe. Nice shooting too. That bobwhite buggy of yours is far too clean, not even any dirt in the tire treads. It must be that wife of yours that washes it right after each hunt?
