Joe, that is an excellent specimen of a leucistic black duck. About four years ago, when I was helping band ducks at Bosque del Apache, we trapped and banded a leucistic female pintail. I was holding the bird but failed to have someone take a picture of it.

Luke, that sure is one beautiful black/mallard hybrid.
