After a little hiatus from the boards, I made my way back over the other day. Was glad to see everyone still around and good to catch up on what's been done and being hunted elsewhere. Going to be a little picture heavy but figured I'd catch you guys up with what's been going on here. I've definitely been busy with Toller Boatworks and have had a boat in some form or fashion going since Dec of 2013.
The first Toller ATC made it's way out to MT and the new owner is loving her. He did some pretty neat work with the blind to accommodate a dog hide and put some of his own personal touches on it.
And graciously so, I was lucky enough to have Toller Boatworks again included in this year's American Waterfowler equipment issue. Big shout out to a great publication! If you haven't had a chance to pick up a copy, you should definitely do yourself a favor and get one!
I finished up somewhere around my 20th Duckhunter back in July. I can honestly say that no two are exactly the same and each has their own little bit of character. This one is now up close to Richmond, VA.
I managed to pick up some help (or sometimes not so much when it comes to finding misplaced tools haha!) this year in the shop!
Back in August, I finished up the second of the Toller ATCs. This one made its way up to Jersey.
Here's what she looks likes now that the new owner grassed her up and hung a motor on it.
Also did a little rehab with a new paint job and some trailer work on my personal boat. Got tired of busting out trailer lights on ice each year, so armed with some scrap PVC, old guide on bases, some new trailer lights, scrap okoume and a pair of amber LED clearance lights I came up with the following.
Took a little time during our 4 day early season and myself and best hunting buddy managed to take a nice bag of bluewings.
And lastly the Duckhunter that I am currently finishing up. This one has a 13 gallon below deck permanent tank and will be powered by a Mud Buddy 23 Mini.
Hope you guys don't mind me sharing and good to be back. Hopefully with things slowing down and hunting season picking up I can chime in a bit more!
