I recently acquired a boat trailer motor package deal well I don't need the boat and it is in very rough shape water logged holes soft floor its just not worth the effort to fix this boat. I got what I needed the motor, and the trailer is just a bonus who doesn't need an extra boat trailer! So here is the million dollar question how do I go about getting rid of a 13 ft fiber glass skiff? And not spend an arm and a leg doing it any advice open to ideas even ones involving explosives haha no but really this thing needs to be out of my drive way.

I would contact your local construction debris landfill, I bet they can take it.
Other than that, make a big raised flowerbed out of it??

Chainsaw and a dumpster? Or free ad on craiglist. One may think it worthless, but the old saying still goes "one mans trash another mans treasure"

The standard way that I know of is as said - saw and dumpster. I'd say sawsall, tyvek suit and respirator and dumpster.

They take boats for a small fee:
Importico Disposal
Garbage Collection Service

If your landfill will take it whole I would leave it on the trailer and take it to the landfill. Here in Northern Ny we just pay by the pound no sense wasting time cutting it up unless you have to.

Thanks all I saw the boat heaven post and that's what I figured I would rather save the money then have to pay for it. Looks like I'll be cutting it up. I thought about putting it on Craigslist but don't want it to be sitting around.

Most landfills will take them for a small per pound fee, a 13' boat shouldn't weigh that much.
How much is your time and sawzall blades worth?

Chris,
I've taken a saws all to a couple old boats and put them out for trash. Did that with a dead 68 Camaro we had also (157,000 miles-wish we still had it). I sold the interior, front end clip, motor and transmission. Took a torch to the rest, cut it up and put it out for trash. Piece of cake.

I have taken a couple different fiberglass boats to the landfill. Drop them off the trailer and they crush them and bury them. Last big tri-hull was like $35.

35 dollars I can afford I'm waiting on reply from the dump on if I can bring it there saws are on standby

Just a suggestion = Free on Craig's List, worked once here. Also sounds like you have a bunch of good solutions suggested here. I have used all of them at one time or another.
