I have been racking my brain and give up. What is the foam diamond-patterened matting (flooring, padding, etc.) called you put on the floor or deck of a boat and where do I find it? I need to replace some in my new boat.

Are you talking about the foam squares that fit together like a puzzles with the rounded fingers? If so Farm & Fleet or Lowes has it. Menards may as well.

Dri-dek is a marine product that is very nice.
 
It might be that hydroturf. I will take a picture of it tonight and post it.

I seem to remember reading about ordering a boat and one of the options was this "padding" but for the life of me I can't remember what it is called.
 
I looked at the hydro turf again and also figured out where I saw it listed as an option (Phowler Boats). Believe that is it, now to just get some.

Right now i need a small amount of black to cover where the trolling mount was at, probably about an 12" x 12".

I will redo the flooring next summer because i want to make a few changes for duck hunting.
