If anyone is interested in knocking out some inexpensive BSCork decoys, Dean Coulombe (see old roll call list) in Coventry, CT, has some 12" X 36" x 3" thick blocks that he's taken out of a 20yr old cooler at their Boy Scout Camp. The cork was going to be thrown on the bonfire for disposal, but Dean stopped them. He dropped some off Sat in thanks for a donation to the troop. No set donation value, and the donation is tax deductible to boot. I plan on knocking out a rig of GWs w/ bottom boards from the 3" and then rip a sheet to bond it to two others, to make 4.5" thick sheets for Wigeon. I'm already working BSC for a brant rig, some GW and Wigeon would be nice additions. I should have them done within the next 4 or 5 years.
The black cork is used, and there are some small chunks broken from edges but overall the cork he dropped off is not dried out and crumbly, and it's old enough to be of good quality, no sticks and other crap pressed into it. If your close enough to take advantage, it’s a good cause and a sweet thank you from Dean. PM me for Dean's contact information.
I hope I didn't violate too may "classifieds" rules. I personally have a sample of the cork and have no reason to believe the quality of the remaining is any different.

Dean's post on CT Fisherman:
The walk in cooler died at are boy scout camp last summer. So a bunch of us went up and took the cooler apart. The new cooler will be installed in the coming month. The walls, ceiling, and floor were filled with 1'x3'x3" blocks of dark dense cork. It looks like the same material that my LL Bean decoys are made of. I saved 28 or 30 of the 1x3 blocks, plus there are many smaller and broken pieces. The cork is still at camp but I have pics and samples with me. What I am looking to do is sell/Donation with the money going back to scouts. I will try to get the pics later this week.
