I've got a feeling this year that I'm going to be either hunting a bunch in the rain or not hunting at all. Since not hunting is not an option, and since I hate hunting in the rain, I need to find a way to make it more comfortable.
I've got the clothing to stay dry so this isn't the issue. What I need is somethign I can put over my head when sitting in the boat just to keep as much rain off of me as I can. I'm thinking some sort of umbrella type of device. I've seen real colorful umbrellas that attach to the back of outdoor folding chairs that would work except for the color. Can't really paint an umbrella and still have it shed water and I'm fairly certain the paint would not last long being folding and unfolded a bunch of times.
Whatever I go with has to be tall enough to leave room between my head and the top of the umbrella device. It would also be great if it attched to my chair and it could swing out of the way when I wanted to stand up and shoot.
This would be cool but you have to buy the whole chair to get the umbrella and it isn't the right color.

Lot's of requirements huh.
Thanks for the ideas.
