So my buddy i hunt with called me and his grandfather in law a long long time baymen here in south jersey had this boat in the side yard. The owner is in his 80s with the start of dementia and can't recall even buying it. My buddy and i have been hunting divers from shore (almost all Buffle head) and i was kicking around the idea of purchasing a layout boat and we were discussing this while hunting. He said oh grandpa has one in the side yard come over and look at it. In the side yard i find this its green, has bungee cord like for attaching grass and handles on all sides. It has a keel it seems but no tow eye? Who knows what we have here? Its long at least 9 feet and about 4 feet wide and 8 inches or so deep i found no writing on it anywhere and its fiberglass.

It's a Reedy Creek boat. I believe they produced a few way back when, but if you go on Reedy Creek Guide Service's website you'll see some pics of them using the boats with their kids.

Thanks do they use these for layout hunting? We have been shooting divers from bay shore in sanford boxes but i want to try open water. BTW Craig i hope your still making some youtube videos i really enjoy them.

Josh I've only seen them used to paddle into some shallow spots, but I'm sure you could use it as a layout in a protected area.

I've been flying off the radar this season, but rest assured I've been doing well on the puddlers. I moved about 45 min south in May and it's opening up a lot more areas for me within a reasonable drive.

100% a Reedy Creek. I found two a few months back and sold them before I got them home and rinsed off. Nice find you have there!

Thanks its not mine its really my hunting buddy's but we are trying to figure out how we can use it he wants to use it like a big water layout blind but in the back bay protected water as Craig suggested i just wondering if i grass it up or not to look like a small island.
