These were from Sunday afternoon...not my best. Too many kids and rowboats and too much fishing going on. The Bluebills were not in the mood to visit close up...nervous to say the least. But they will be back at least a few more days I hope, maybe a weekday, workday.

The white ibis were friendly though...

Tommorrow I plan to sneak out of work for an hour or two...maybe they will be in the mood for a walk on the beach.

Great pics Hitch. How do you get them so clear and sharp?

I cant take a picture of my own foot without it being blurry

Hitch, nice pic's. The second picture looks like the BBL's saying [WACHU LOOKIN AT BOY] HA HA the ibis saying [OH GOD HE'S GOING TO TAKE MY PICTURE] seriously tho there all good shots keep it up ,lets see some more have a nice day.Cas

Thanks guys...yep the Drake in the photo was the sentry for Sunday afternoon. He never nodded with the others and never quite folded his wings all the way up. Definately a classic pose.

I still plan to go back this afternoon.

If you ever need to have any of your decoys "water tested" or photographed like the one above, I have a real nice pond in the back yard and would volunteer my time and energy. I am thinking maybe a standard two to three year test period after which I could immediately send the decoys and results back to you .

We could start with a dozen or so and work up from there...and don't worry about me spending all that time either... its a sacrifice I am willing to make

Sweet Bob...have you done a Mottled yet? If not...

Anyway, The Scaup were resting too far away this afternoon.

But a few Mottleds flew in for some shoreline pickin'
