View attachment _IGP7088e.jpgHere is what one of the reservoirs up here look like. The top of the rocks is the usual water level. I couldn't tell what kind of ducks those were from where I was, but there are Seagulls, a goose, Blue Heron flying. I went on Craigs list this morning looking for a used motor, saw some boats you might be interested in. Wausau list Boat and motor reasonable prices.

It's thundering right now & threatening to rain again, I will go outside and ask it to move north to your neck of the woods!

Thanks! But I'm still going to have to wait until late winter/spring to buy, which sucks cause there are some steals out there right now. Especially up near my sisters' places around Detroit.
Once I get clearence from the "boss" this spring, I will be asking everyone for help tracknig down what I want.

Carl,
You are right about the amount of boats here. I have a buddy who went down South, along the coast, looking for a boat. When the dealer found out that he was from Michigan, he told him that his home base is the best place to find a boat.
We have an area here, called "The Nautical Mile" (between 9 Mile Road & 10 Mile Road) and there are more boats in that one mile stretch of lakeshore than any place else in the World.
........come on up. ;)

Unless the supply dries up, my plan is to come up to my sisters in the summer to pick up a boat.
Dont worry, you'll be tasked with looking for one for me!!
I'll buy you a beer at Tinfish if you find one for me (or even if you dont).
