CB / weather radios

Guys don’t know if I’ve been watching too many YouTube videos or just genuinely want to be better informed as I’ve gotten older

Does anyone have a CB / scanner ability to get updated road conditions as your on the go vs relying on an app?

We really don’t get too bad of weather situations minus tornados down here and the occasionally rate hard freezes. But my situation has gone from an hour commute to a 7 hour commute and just wanting to be able to access pertinent road data quicker

Dax , a CB is a good idea as you can get instant road info from truckers traveling the other direction.
