CeeBee Duck Boat

That is rated for a 90??? Man, you would be the first person to ANY hunting spot.

I don't know anything specific about the boat, but a 34 year old hull will need to be looked at carefully for delamination and hollow spots.

I've done some more research and it seems ceebee made little speed boats. It seems someone took a little speedboat and turned into a duck boat. I'm going to do the prudent thing and pass on this boat. I will keep looking and let my budget grow until next season and look for a nice welded jon!

Actually, it looks of a type that I've had in mind for a project/conversion for some time. I'm constantly seeing a new twist or getting a new idea. Any more pics or information? What size motor is on it? Thanks.

I see "duckboats" like that all the time. Somebody acquires, finds, salvages, a small FG runabout, or skiff, cuts it down, installs a new deck and abracadabra, a duck boat!
Nothing wrong with them if the guy who put it together has some skills.
So it's not a "traditional" Sneakbox, so what, in all practicality, it's probably better..... faster too, lol

Looks like it would make a fine duck boat. A little camo paint and maybe a blind or dodger and you would have one heck of a cool duck boat.

Don't get too hung up on the "duck boat" label .... a safe, functional, comfortable boat is more important.....

Merry Christmas

Hmmm...Based on the feedback here maybe i should go take a look at the boat. The boat is only located about an hour away and the gentleman is only asking $650 for it. The boat has just had all the wiring, bilge pump and lights replaced, the trailer has just received mew bearings and lights. Sounds like if it is structurally sound it may make a nice little boat! Figure it would be perfect with a 20 or 25hp tiller motor.

That's more like a duckhunter thought process. LOL I look at almost every boat I see with a thought towards 'could that be a duck boat?'. LOL

That looks like a good deal on that CeeBee Boat. I do not know if I would use a 90 Hp motor on a 15 foot boat. It looks like there is not a lot of weight in the frount of that boat and with a 90 Hp you would have to sit on the nose to off set the weight of the motor.
Good luck with your new boat.

I'd go look at it. Looks like a neat little boat.
But I dont think I'd be putting max hp on her!
