Paul don't worry, from what I'm hearing we might even get a bump on the redheads and be able to shoot 3 a day next year if the numbers go up a bit!

It was actually discussed this year but they had no framework to make it happen.
My understanding is that they are working on something for next year, similar to cans, pintails & scaup: If redhead numbers are at least XXX,XXX the limit is 2, if the numbers are over X,XXX,XXX then the limit is 3.
 
Carl, I did hear from someone who is "in the know " as far as a 3 redhead bump, he advises me that he is having trouble getting many of the folks in the decision making process to go along with the idea.

I have faith in his power of persuasion, this guy could sell ice to Eskimo's so I'll keep my fingers crossed

Our reps were all for it, but realistic about needing the science/plan to back it up. I think if the numbers are up again next year, we'll see it happen.
But if the PPR doesnt start getting some snow on the ground, we might not.
