Charlie, here are some pics of the new boat you asked about some time back. I started it 2 years ago this past July and have just been too busy to complete it. It should be finished in about a week. I just spoke to Steve over at the USCG about maybe bringing it over in December for certifician. Looking at 4 persons/40 hp motor/1250 lbs. Still some work to do yet but I'M HUNTIN OUT OF THIS BOAT THIS YEAR!! It's 17 feet long, 6 foot beam. Gunning box is just a tic under 9 feet on this model. If I leave out the decoy storage compartment the gunning box would be 11 feet.

I was building a 16 foot Heavy Ducker to begin with, then after I lofted the floor I said to myself,"Ya know, all I gotta do to make a V bottom is fold the floor together. Then if I flatten the aft section a little that will pull the rocker back into the bow. Humm!"
