I can't believe that a copy of Grayson's book went begging on Ebay for $20. If you're interested it has
been relisted. Look under "chesser". Just my little tip for the day. Grass is starting to get green here in Maine and the crocus sure look good in the garden. I do believe we've thrown winter to the curb.

While the original was published in 1989, the book was re-issued as an expanded version in 2006 by Tidewater Publishers. The 2006 version contains all that was in the original plus additional text and a 13-page painting demo for a Canada goose This new version is still available from Tidewater for $24.95 and used books are available for about $22 from various sources.
 
good to hear you are defrosted up north. We've had the earliest ice out here on the lake that I can remember. Haven't seen the new Chesser book, though I heard it's reprinting lowered the value of originals...a surprise to me also.
