Chris Hagenlocher

Dave,

Thanks for keeping an eye out for me! I haven't read it, but have heard it's a good book, and my sponsor has a copy of it. However I'm not too excited about anything falconry related coming from the U.K. I prefer our style of falconry. Thanks again for thinking of me-

Dave,

Did you ever get photobucket working? It's super easy and will blow your socks off at how big the images you can post on here are- it's simple- no [inline] anything- just copy the code on the website and paste it wherever you want in your message and wham-o! you've got multiple big pics in your post!

Chris,

Does it appear as a attachment you have to click on in the post to open it or does it just show-up as the actual photo? I'll take a look at there webpage, thanks.

Dave

Chris, I looked at their website and looked at their registration requirements. There is no need for them to have that much information on me, (ie my DOB & Cell-phone number, etc.).

Usually if something like that is free, then they are getting something of value out of it some way. I get enough junk mail and junk phones calls as it is.

Dave,

When I signed up my DOB was 4/4/44 and my phone number was 444-444-4444. Hmmm...and I still haven't received a call...

I also have a SPAM (hotmail) email address. I use this for signing up for things just like this. It's easy enough to check it for a sign-up email or something like that but I rarely check it cause it's full of SPAM. Then I have another I give to friends and family, but I never use that one to sign-up for things.

You can sign up if you like just don't give them all the 'correct' information.

Dave,

It just shows up as the photo in your post- in your album on photobucket of images you've uploaded (of any size) it gives you four different codes, one of them being an IMG code that looks like this:

http://numbers.photobucket.com/albums/numbers/missouribirdman/img_numbers.jpg etc....

I changed the actual numbers to the word so it wouldn't post my pic again-

I also BS'd the info- used my spam gmail address and didn't give them a cell number. Not all of that info is required- they just want a view of what age group is using it- teens, adults, etc.

Hope this helps- enjoy a redtail-

That's interesting. I went and looked at my photobucket account details and saw that when I registered in early 2004, they must not have required a first name, last name, D.O.B., phone number, and for education I had selected "some Junior High". I'm with you Dave, some of these websites just need to much personal info.

Nice pic of that immature male redtail Chris. So, what you guys are saying is.....I can register with some bogus dob, phone number, etc. and get on. Sounds good to me. I can put it on one of my other email addresses I have.
