Christmas tree project.

I've been thinking about trying this for a while, and I got this far yesterday. They are each wired to a center pole that is tied to an eye hook in the ceiling so it can't tip over. I'm sure I'm not the first guy to think of this, but I've never seen one before. It might look good decorated with fish hooks.

Mike. Neat stuff. Dani sent me a picture of one made from Moose sheds the other day. Way cool if for no other reason than the number, and descending size, of sheds needed. I sent her one back that was very similar to yours made of Elk and Deer.

If she saved them maybe she'll see this and post them

Neat stuff. I could do a scraggly Charlie Brown tree with the sheds I have but it wouldn't be as impressive as yours.

Steve

I just did an image search and may have seen that same moose one as you. Man was that cool! It would be so heavy. There are actually a bunch of really cool looking antler trees out there.

Hate to see the cat that climbs that tree!

I personally want to see a picture of Steve's Schlitz-can-Festivous-pole!

Mike-

Here was the moose tree....i'm still looking for the one that Steve sent me. I thought this was really cool.

I like your tree a lot.....very cool.

This is sounding like the start of a challenge. Let's see what guys can come up with. May I suggest you can't just repost a picture from the interweb, you actually have to build it (even if its one sad little fork horn with a spent .243 on top) and post the picture. Timeline - now till Christmas Day, prize - bragging rights until next year. If you don't have any horns, stack up your gear, decoys, boats, whatever. Anyone in?

Mike

If there was a "like" button I'd would push it.

And yes to having a whole mess of plugs and spoon lures hanging up for decoration. Without hooks of course.

and the MOST amazing thing about that Moose antler tree is the antlers are all, or least mostly all, the same side.....THAT's ALOT of sheds......

I'm thinking Gator Skulls in my tree submission.....

HAPPY FESTIVUS TO THE REST OF US.....

Steve

I agree, you'd have to sort through a ton of horn to get all the right sizes and same sides like that. Maybe a horn buyer? Super cool display for a ski lodge or Bass Pro or something.

A gator skull tree would be just about the coolest thing ever.

My girlfriend has already started reversing my "bah humbug" system. If I let her know about this challenge I would expect her to come over and cover up the caribou rack with "stuff". Caribou is sort of reindeery in nature. I will dig out a bunch of old pike lures my dad left up here. Some spinners and bottom fish jigs, too.

So I spend half the day today going total "Clark Griswold" on Christmas lights and now you show me this!!

I have a real bad feeling I'll be going through a bunch of sheds tomorrow working on another "project"

A couple of old pike plugs, some pixie spoons and a bunch of huge spin-n-glows painted up to look like ornaments.

I'm in Atlanta the Charley Brown antler tree is in Merritt island. I forgot to take pictures. Back to florida on sat. Pictures then. Judge now if you want anyone but me to win. BUWHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA.

While I don't have anything like the antler trees, I do have a hunting and fishing tree that gets set up annually. My wife finds most of the ornaments in obscure places. Here is a sample of a few.

I also have a collection of nutcrackers with a hunting or fishing theme. Here are a couple of them.
