Anyone have or ever use columbia waders? I found some of the 5mm neoprene with 1600 gram boots. I was gonna get the Cabelas 1600 but the columbia are ones are on sale. Are these a tough rugged wader or should I stick with cabelas? Any thoughts? Thanks.

I have a pair that has made a couple trips to Alaska after sea ducks, crawling over the rocks, etc at -20 degrees and they are worth every cent I paid for them! Great waders and reinforced in all the right places...you can't go wrong with them and especially if you can get them on sale.

Chris, I think Columbia has fleece inside the neoprene? A buddy has them and loves them. No clammy damp feeling from the sweat in the wadders. If they are the same, and priced like the Cabela's get them. I have the 1600 gram Cabela's in stout and love them. Very comfortable compared to what I had in the past.

The columbia ones I am looking at are not stout so I might go with cabelas for that reason I am a little on the fluffy side

Hey Chris,
Have you ever checked out www.rogerssportinggoods.com ? I was looking at their Columbia waders not too long ago because I'll be needing some for this upcoming season. After hearing what some of the other guys have mentioned I think I'll order them. They are on sale for $129.95.
